Alpha-Omega Universe Powers and Abilities Table:
The Powers Table for each of the 10 “Character Categories” is based on the 1 to 10 Scale, 1 being the “Lowest” and 10 being the “Highest”. There is, however, an added category labeled “Immeasurable” which is represented by the number 10+. This means that the “Character Category” cannot be measured by any known means, scales or technology and can be in any range above the Level 10 Scale (Level 11 and up). For instance, a character can have a “Strength Category” of “Immeasurable” (10+) strength and be able to lift a mountain (if it were possible for the mountain to hold its physical integrity and not crumble beneath its own weight), whereas another character may be in the same “Strength Category” (10+) and be able to lift an entire continent if the same physical attributes applied. Both the mountain and the continent are structures that cannot be measured in weight, therefore, they both fall under the “Immeasurable” Scale on the Powers and Abilities Table. The strength difference between the 2 characters is considerable, but not relevant due to atmospheric pressure, gravity, inertia, bodyweight and structural integrity. If either character were to punch or throw the other, the affects and results would be much the same, and there would not be a noticeable difference.
The 10 “Character Categories” are listed below. There is a category entitled “Powers/Abilities.” This category covers a wide range of possible types of endowments, from heat vision and super hearing to mental powers and so on. Only notable powers and abilities are listed in the Character Profiles, therefore, if a specific power or ability is not listed in the Character Profile, then either it is Average L-3 or the character doesn’t have the power or ability. An example is vision or hearing. If a character has vision or hearing abilities that Scale other than Average L-3, then it will be listed under Powers and Abilities, Equipment, and/or Weaknesses. If the ability is listed, then it will be given a Scale Level. For instance, Spirit has X-Ray Vision Scaled at L-10, whereas Ultramagnis has Telescopic/Microscopic Vision Scaled at L-10 and Heightened Hearing Scaled at L-10. These are listed in their Character Profiles because they are not at the Average L-3 Scale.
The 10 “Character Categories” are:
1) Strength – The amount in weight a Character can lift (press).
2) Speed – The amount of speed (how fast) a Character can run and/or fly.
3) Reflexes – The quickness in which a Character can move (attack, dodge, etc.)
4) Agility – The amount of flexibility and maneuverability a Character has.
5) Physical Durability – The amount of physical punishment a Character can withstand.
6) Mental Durability – The Character’s resistance to mind control and illusion influence
7) Intelligence – The amount of intelligence a Character has includes intelligence gained from natural borne, common sense quotient, retention quotient (book smarts), learned (education and experience), training and obtained (thru magic or other sources) all compiled for one combined scale level.
8) Life Span – The estimated amount of time a Character has to live from birth to death if the death is natural.
9) Powers/Abilities – The strength potential or damage inflicting potential of a Character’s powers and/or abilities.
10) Weakness – The potential level of severity inflicted to a Character by
that Character’s weakness.
